Default store that particulary sells horse stuff

-----------------------------------------------

does anyone know a store that particulary sells horse tack or grooming suplies or anything that has to do with horses. not like the dekathlon that's a general sports store.
and then in the area of the dordogne, charente or correze.

May sound a bit naff, but look in your local phone book (yellow pages section) there is an index at the beginning - try "Equitation : sellerie, équipement (détail)"
good luck

Ebay is GREAT!!!!!!!
My problem with tack shops is that I tend to go in with the good intention of just buying the thing(s) that I need but usually come out having bought a dozen other things that I don't necessarily need and cusually can't really afford!
I thought that Ebay would be different, but I seem to have the same problem - must be me!!

No Buzzy it is not only you! I LOVE Ebay and spend far too much money (and time) on it as well, normally on stuff I dont need!

The thing I love about tack shops is the beautiful smell of leather and all things horsey when you walk in......it is better than the new car smell to me......

There is a lovely but small sellerie in Perigueux at Marsac Sur Lisle. It is near Auchan in the same block as Hydrosud. The lady in there is just lovely and very helpful, I would really recommend them.

Oohh I love ebay, it's so addictive, the horsey section in the UK is so much better than here in France. My Husband has banned me from going on it now :( as I always end up buying things I really don't need or already have.
Horsewood is a good shop but it's not on the cheap side and there are 2 great shops in Saumur (again not cheap) Have been told about a tackshop near Noirt, Buzzy maybe you know about it as I can't seem to find it.

My boyfriend told me that e-bay is the girls equivalent of internet porn..... However, now HE's addicted to it (unfortunately he doesn't buy horsey items for me though!!!)
