Default Horses are like buses....

You wait ages for one, and two come along at once!

Yes, after missing out on Ebony, I was contacted by a friend of a friend, who just so happens to have a horse for sale.

He's an 18hh Shire called Bob. He was bought originally for her husband, who rode him for a while but lost interest for some reason. He needs a little work, but apparently he's the kind of horse that can be picked up again without difficulty. He also hacks out for a good couple of hours but, being a big beast, this is about his limit.

So, along with my friend's husband, I'm going to go and find where he is kept on Sunday and have a look....!

Well, we shall see....

Strangely, I've only ever seen ONE Shire - Annie Rose has a couple, and one of them came out with us the first time I went to ride there. Ace doesn't count 'cos he's only half-Shire....

Good luck on this one, Daren!! You just never know...
